Waste Vegetable Oil Fuels

B100 Supply has found a great bushing that should make connection from a NPT barrel bung to a NPT 3/4″ pipe a breeze. You can fab that whole side of the plumbing at the bench and then screw into the barrel without ever having to climb inside. Bonus! For those of us who use poly drums, most have one coarse thread bung as well as the one NPT bung. This will make the connection to the NPT bung much easier and safer. I’ve been interested in this concept for a while now. Using this on a poly drum will make it impossible to use the Wash Tank Heater, but if you don’t plan on using this method, this is your solution. You will still need to use the coarse bung and punch out the 3/4″ port. I would recommend the Stronger Stand Pipe method, with a single flange or double flange (oreo) backing.
