I’ve been drying my biodiesel by letting sit uncovered in my garage and/or heating it with an aquarium heater. The heater I use is a 250W version (they were out of the 300W model) by ViaAqua. I just read in this post from the Infopop Biodiesel Forum that “lorelec” uses compressed air to dry his just washed biodiesel. DUH! Why haven’t I done this? I’ve got a bubble mister set up to bubble the wash water, why not get one to dry the biodiesel too?
Want to dry your biodiesel? Try blowing on it! Look for my progress report later.
